His chamber music has been featured two years in the Music from Greer festival, and his trio Waves premiered at the 2009 NASA Saxophone Conference at the University of New Mexico.

Kyle began composing classical music at the age of nine when he first started studying violin. In his early teens, he began composing chamber and orchestral concert works, which sparked an interest in film scoring which led to scoring both his friends and his own short films.

Kyle grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona studying violin with Paul Brisbane, Joyce Quon, and most notably Dr. William Magers, Professor Emeritus of Viola at Arizona State University. Kyle studied composition with Karl Schindler at Phoenix College for one year before entering the University of Southern California (USC) where he studied with Frederick Lesemann, Stephen Hartke, and Donald Crockett. Kyle graduated with a Bachelors of Music degree in Composition. While attending USC, Kyle interned for film composer Brian Tyler from June 2010 to May 2011 and was also mentored by agent Michael Gorfaine (GSA) from 2009-2010.

Kyle has performed in the Phoenix Youth Symphony, the USC Concert Orchestra, the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, and participated four consecutive years in the Arizona SW Regional Honor Orchestra. He is also the founder and manager of Suite-Strings string quartet, which he formed in 2003.
